Greetings Mother Members and Esteemed Guests,
I am honored and humbled to serve as President of this great organization and outstanding chapter comprised of remarkable and dedicated mothers. I will work hard in my efforts to continue the great leadership that has been established by Immediate Past President and Regional MAL Evans, Ex Officio Tonya Collier and their predecessors.
Madame Vice President and I agree that our vision for the chapter is to build on the Extreme Excellence that has led our chapter to have great success and focus on A Passion for Service, our aim for the 2015-2016 Program Year. As a large chapter of dynamic women it is important to attain recognition for our contributions to the community, for our actions truly make a difference. Whether our children and teens are donating to a school, serving food at a shelter, managing a clothing drive or volunteering at our chapter wide community service activity to grant scholarships, we will seek to have the appropriate media coverage and recognition within the community.
During this program year, I would also like us to focus on continuing to grow our strong sisterly bond with a kindred spirit among our mothers. This will allow us to ensure all mothers are actively engaged and contributing to our organization’s continued success.
Let us never forget that our primary purpose is to mold our children into the leaders of tomorrow.
I am excited for this new opportunity and welcome your input, as there are always opportunities to improve and move to higher levels, as we embark on this journey together.
In The Name of Jack and Jill,
President Oakland County Chapter
